Tell Congress to Protect our Democracy

On May 9th, Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.  Under normal circumstances, a President has a right to fire the head of the FBI for cause - but Donald Trump is not a normal President.  He fired Director Comey in the middle of an active investigation by the FBI into the Trump campaign's alleged collusion with Russia to influence the 2016 election.  At the time of Comey's firing, subpoenas had been issued by a federal grand jury against associates of Trump's former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and federal investigators had filed requests for the financial records of Trump's campaign manager Paul Manafort.

It is up to you - yes, you - to protect our democracy.  Our democratic institutions are under attack by foreign authoritarian governments, assisted by a sympathetic President, and only the citizens of this country can save it.  Use the link below to demand a straight answer to 2 questions from your Representatives and Senators:

1. Will you investigate Donald Trump's ties with the Russian government, including the possibility of collusion during the 2016 campaign?

2.  If any evidence of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump or his associates is found, will you move to immediately begin impeachment proceedings?

If the answer to either question is not an unequivocal "Yes," then tell your Representative or Senator you will work to vote them out in 2018 so the people can have a Congress that will fulfill its duty to act as a check on the executive branch.
